Dr. Knowles has served in the role of Principal in Moore and then joined MPS as the Head Principal of Mustang Middle School.  She is now entering her fifth year at MHS.

Keli Wilkie began her career in education with Moore Public Schools, where she spent 18 years working as a Social Studies teacher and a counselor.  She came to Mustang High School in 2017 and spent two years as a high school counselor before moving into Administration.  

Ms. Wilkie received her Bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater and has a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma, as well as a Masters degree in Educational Administration from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.  She has been married to her college sweetheart, Joe, for more than 25 years and she has two children, Emily and Austin.  In her free time, Ms. Wilkie enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Craig Chestnut is in his 27th year of service to Mustang Public Schools. He began his teaching career in 1995. He taught biology and health while also coaching football and track at Mustang High School for 9 years. Mr. Chestnut served as an Administrative intern for 1 year at MHS, before becoming an assistant principal at Mustang North Middle School for 2 years. Following his service at MNMS, he moved back to MHS, were he has been an assistant principal for the past 16 years.

Mr. Chestnut received his bachelors degree from Northwestern Oklahoma State University 1994 and his masters degree from Southwestern Oklahoma state university in 2005.

Mr. Chestnut is a 1989 graduate of Mustang High School. He considers it an honor and privilege to work at his alma mater. Mr. Chestnut has been married to his wife Shannon for 28 years. He has 2 children Jace and Jayden and two grandchildren, Romi and Colson.  During his free time, Mr. Chestnut enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

Renee' Boatman joined Mustang Public Schools in 1987. She taught at Mustang North Middle School for 17 years before leaving the classroom to become an Assistant Principal at Mustang North Middle School. Following 2 years of service at Mustang North Middle School, she moved to the Freshman Center at Mustang Mid-High for 6 years. Since then, she has been an Assistant Principal at Mustang High School and currently serves as the Student Assistance/Technology Principal.

Mrs. Boatman received her undergraduate degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and her master’s degree in Educational Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1995.

Mrs. Boatman is an advocate for students. She works with at-risk students to help them find the best path to obtain their educational goals.

During her free time, Mrs. Boatman enjoys reading, camping, teaching swim lessons and spending time with her husband, her two grown children, her 3 grandchildren and her 2 yorkies.

Chad Harper started teaching at Mustang High School in December of 1998 as a teacher.  Through his teaching career, he has taught Communications, Automotive Technology, Small Engine Repair, English, and Engineering.  He also was the head freshman football coach from 2002-2014 , and the varsity head golf coach from 2013-2019.  He has been an assistant coach in various sports throughout his career.   Chad is in his third year as the 10th grade assistant principal.  

Chad  has been a resident of Mustang his whole life.  He went to Lakehoma Elementary, Mustang Middle School , and graduated from Mustang High school in 1991. He acquired a Bachelor's degree in 1998 in English Education and a Masters in Education Leadership in 2019. Both degrees were from the University of Central Oklahoma.  

Chad married his high school sweetheart, Kristin Harper, in 1993.  They have three children together, Dakota, Ezra, and Haden.  Chad and Kristin both enjoy travelling, spending time at the lake, and raising cattle on their farm in western Oklahoma.   

Kaitlin Hensley is starting her fifth year at Mustang High School. While in the classroom she taught U.S. History and AP U.S. History while sponsoring Student Council and the junior class. 

She received her Bachelors degree in History Education from the University of Central Oklahoma and her Masters in Education from the University of Oklahoma.

She is excited to be a part of the Mustang High School community! In her free time she loves to read, shop, and spend time with her husband and their 2 dogs, Murphy and Kody!

Cody Little will be starting his 12th year of service to Mustang Public Schools. Cody began teaching in 2011 at Mustang Middle School before moving to the MMS athletic director in 2016. In 2019, Cody transitioned from athletic administration to assistant principal at Mustang Middle School. In the fall of 2021, Cody moved to Mustang High School as an assistant principal.

Cody received his bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University and his master's degree from East Central University. He is a 2006 graduate of Mustang High School, and finds great pride and satisfaction in coming back to the Mustang community and school district to give back to a place that provided so much to him growing up.

Cody has been married to his wife, Jamey, for 9 years. Jamey serves the community as well as the owner and chiropractor at Action Chiropractic. Cody and Jamey have two kids in the Mustang School District ages 5 and 7. Cody is also highly involved with NCAA Softball. He is a regional advisor for the NCAA Softball Umpire Program and the Coordinator of Officials for the Western Athletic Conference ( WAC).  

Danny Brown started serving Mustang Public Schools in 1995.  He taught Physical Education and Computer Sciences in 6th through 9th Grade at Mustang North and at the High School.  He also coached Football, Wrestling, Golf, and Track at the various levels.  

In 2009 Mr. Brown served as a ninth grade assistant principal.  In 2012 he served a semester as an elementary assistant principal at Mustang Creek and then as an assistant principal at Mustang North until moving back to the High School campus in 2017 where he is currently serving as an assistant principal for the Junior Class.    

Mr. Brown received his bachelor's degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1995 and his masters degree from Southwestern Oklahoma state University in 2007.  Mr. Brown is a 1989 graduate of Mustang High School. He has 2 children Garrison and Chandler both MHS graduates.  During his free time, Mr. Brown enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, and spending time with his family.

Hello, MHS families! My name is Katy Korstjens and I serve as an assistant principal at Mustang High School. I am a proud graduate of Mustang Public Schools.  After graduating from MHS, I went on to Southeastern Oklahoma State University as a member of the SE women’s basketball team where I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology/Chemistry. I later received my Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Oklahoma.

I began my career in education in Holdenville as a science teacher/coach before moving to Edmond Public Schools. After teaching and coaching for 10 years, I moved into administration at Edmond before returning home to Mustang.  I just finished my 9th year as an Assistant Principal at Mustang North and look very much forward to serving at Mustang High School.  

My husband and I have four amazing children who have all attended Mustang Public Schools. We love this community and I look forward to partnering with you in your child’s education!
