Advanced Placement
- Test registration is done online in the spring, starting in January and through March 1.
- The dates for AP exams are set by the College Board; Mustang Public Schools does not set testing dates.

The students may earn a designation of AP Scholar at graduation and be recognized at an AP reception by scoring 3 or higher on at least 3 AP exams
Grade Scale for:

Accelerated Course (formerly Pre-AP) = .5 added to GPA

AP = 1 point added to GPA
Mustang offers the following AP classes: AP American History, AP Art History, AP Calculus, AP Chemistry, AP Computer Science, AP English III, AP English IV, AP Environmental Science, AP European History, AP Human Geography, AP Physics, AP Psychology, AP Government, AP Statistics, and AP Spanish Language.
