‘One-Stop’ Central Enrollment Encourages: Enroll Early & Beat The Lines

(Mustang, Oklahoma – June 4, 2019) – John Bracelyn of Lincoln, Nebraska coined the term “one-stop-shop” in the late 1920’s and since then it has become synonymous with convenience.  That is exactly what Mustang Public Schools is now offering with their year-round Central Enrollment Center.

“Central Enrollment is meant provide a convenient, time-saving, family-friendly opportunity to enroll students at one central location,” said Director of Communications, Kirk Wilson.  Located inside the new Mustang Education Resource Center (MERC) at 909 S. Mustang Road, the Central Enrollment Center will be the ‘one-stop-shop’ for families who are new to Mustang and need to enroll their children or families who have current Mustang students and need to change a name or address, complete enrollment packets, update custody information, and more.

“We want to encourage anyone new to Mustang with children who will be school age for next year to come in early, before August, to get enrolled,” Student Information Database Administrator Margaret Brown said. “We also ask that any current Mustang Families come in for their needs as soon as possible.  Don’t wait; the lines will get long as we get closer to August 16, 2019 [the first day of school for MPS],” Brown said. Enrollment packets for 2019-2020, required documents, are available on the Central Enrollment Website (enrollment.mustangps.org) and paper copies may be picked up at the MERC.  “Be sure that you know what you need to bring with you as we are only able to accept completed packets to guarantee enrollment,” Brown concluded.
